Ndaka Safari Lodge, situated in the Malaria free Nambiti Private Game Reserve at Elandslaagte, near Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal – a new Private Game Lodge is in the making. Previously Nambiti Falls – a ‘converted’ farmhouse centrally located in the Nambiti Game Reserve, Mark and Tracey have started the reconstruction of their dream, Ndaka Safari Lodge, a luxury tented camp catering for all, and in particular children.

Accommodation at Ndaka Safari Lodge
6 Luxury Safari Tents with views out over the Nambiti Plain in front of the Lodge, each with an entrance foyer, large lounge, a double bedroom, private bathroom with bath and large shower and separate toilet en suite. Step out to an outdoor shower with a view. These tents are spacious with views from the lounge, bedroom, bath and showers. What is rather unique is that the bathroom, entrance, back of the bed and cupboard area is constructed of brick. The lounge and bedroom are primarily tented and the bathroom section has a metal roof with ceiling, making that section quite private.

Extra beds may be brought into the suite and located in the open plan lounge area for children. Two double family tents will be available in the new year 2015. The double accommodation in the farm house, each with private bathroom en suite, will continue to be used whilst the extra tented accommodation and Main Lodge buildings are being constructed.

Whilst waiting on the new Main Lodge building, the existing public areas include a lounge, dining room, lapa, honesty bar, dining view deck, boma and swimming pool. There is a trampoline and games for children.

Guided open vehicle game drives are conducted early mornings and late afternoons in the Nambiti Game Reserve.

Please Note: Children under age 13 are automatically accommodated on a sharing basis in the lounge area of a Single Luxury Safari Tented Suite on proper single beds • For 2 or less children (aged 12 & under) sharing our Double Luxury Safari Tented Suites with 2 Adults, the minimum rate for teens (aged 13-16) on a sharing basis applies • Single Supplement applies over Christmas and Easter periods RATES INCLUDE : • Return transfers from the Memorial Gate Car Park to the Lodge on date of arrival & departure • Accommodation • Lunch, dinner & breakfast • All hot beverages & homemade biscuits/rusks from our coee station located in the dining area • Two (2) game drives per person per day at the designated times • Game drive snacks • Use of lodge facilities, swimming pool & outdoor games RATES EXCLUDE : • All bar services at the Lodge & on game drive • Nambiti Rhino Protection Levy of R70.00 (incl VAT) per person per night for all guests over the age of 2 years (Subject to change without notice) • Curio & personal purchases • Extra optional activities such as bass fishing (Seasonal) • Baby sitting service - subject to availabilty (advance bookings required - at least 7 days notice) PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING : • Any special dietary requirements must be advised at time of booking or well in advance before check in.
