Book here for Lions Valley Lodge, situated in the malaria free Nambiti Private Game Reserve, it is built in an African architectural style, with natural tree-trunks supporting the majestic thatch roofs. Lions Valley Lodge exudes a warm, welcoming atmosphere that invites guests to revel in the magic of the African bush. The magnificent Porte-cochere leads into the main reception area where guests are immediately drawn to the lovely view across the valley and the Nambiti Game Reserve. Off the dining room is the boma that is built around an open central fireplace, cleverly designed to be open, but with the diners sheltered from inclement weather or the sun.
Lions Valley Lodge offer really excellent Big Game sightings. Open sided game viewing vehicles offer close, clear sightings of the incredibly wide diversity of species found in the Nambiti Game Reserve. This includes herds of elephant and buffalo as well as black and white rhino frequently seen with lion and cheetah less often. Leopard, although present are very elusive. The antelope viewing is really good in Nambiti. Open plains with numerous scattered herds and then the bush supporting a very high population, Kudu in particular.
