The Nambiti Hills Private Game Lodge, situated in the southern sector of the Big Five, Nambiti Private Game Reserve at Elandaslaagte, near Ladysmith in KwaZulu-Natal. Nambiti Hills is a five star Malaria Free venue, ideal for guests seeking a bit of luxury, privacy, romance or as a base, from which to go searching for the Big Five and the plethora of other species found in the Nambiti Game Reserve. The game viewing really is excellent in the Nambiti Park, with frequent sightings of a wide variety of Big Game, antelope and bird species.

Nambiti Hills Private Game Lodge is built high on a hill, with magnificent panoramic views over the bushveld, the Lodge has an expansive deck, ideal to relax and take in these vistas.

Accommodation at Nambiti Hills Game Lodge
Nambiti Hills has 8 Luxurious Private Suits – each with King or Twin beds (with mosquito nets), with an open plan lounging area. The bathroom is open plan as well, with a large stone bath, shower and vanity, all with views out into the bushveld of the Nambiti Game Reserve. The suites have an air-conditioner that can also be used as a heater in winter, there is also a fully stocked mini bar, wireless internet and a tea and coffee station. A sleeper couch is provides for children in some of the suites. Each suite has a private veranda that overlooks the game reserve, this offers the ideal setting to relax during the day or for intimate dinners.

The Honeymoon Suite, at Nambiti Hills Private Game Lodge, has the most wonderful unobstructed outlook over the Nambiti Game Reserve. A vast suite with large lounge and open plan bathroom, there is an indoor and outdoor shower, the bed, a King-sized four  poster with mosquito netting.

Nambiti Hills Main Lodge
Nambiti Hill’s glass-enclosed dining, lounging and bar areas affords panoramic views over the rolling hills and bushveld by day, as too the wide deck, which also allows guests the opportunity of seeing the myriads of stars on a clear night, devoid of peripheral light. The night sky can be amazing in the bushveld. The wide veranda with neighbouring bar, also looks onto a waterfall that tumbles into a rock swimming pool. Here guests may cool off, or just relax whilst sipping drinks or cocktails. Indoor and boma fires, offer romantic cosy winter evenings after the afternoon guided game drives.

Nambiti Hills Activities
Guided game drives are conducted in ‘open’ Safari vehicles, by experienced, knowledgeable rangers, each early morning, and again afternoons into the evening. On the morning game drive, one would stop for a hot drink and a snack, whilst on the afternoon drive there will be a break in the game viewing for a sundowner drink and more snacks.

The accommodation, meals (brunch, high tea and dinner), all teas, coffees, snacks, welcome drinks, game drive drinks as well as breakfast fruit juices are included in the tariff.

Not included would be all drinks from the bar, a la carte lunches, Spa treatments, gratuities and personal purchases.

All rates are per person per night sharing. Our tariffs include: Accommodation, brunch, high tea and dinner daily. All teas, coffees, snacks, welcome drinks, game drive drinks and breakfast fruit juices. Two game drives per day accompanied by expert guide (Subject to availability). *Welcome drinks, teas and coffees, game drive drinks and breakfast fruit juices are included. *An a la carte menu is available for lunch, at an additional expense.

Child Policy Children between 6 and 11 in their own room, first child pays full adult rate, the second child pays 50%. Children 12 years and over pay full adult rate. Children between 6 and 11 who are sharing with adults pay 50%. No safari activities are permitted for children under the age of 6. Game drives can be offered to children 12 and under, only at the discretion of the lodge manager. Children in the lodge must at all times be under the control of their parents. Parents must ensure that the experience of other guests is not compromised. Babysitting services are offered at a cost of R100 per hour, subject to availability, during game drives and evenings.
